Edward Burns is an experienced software developer with a background in both backend and frontend development. Currently serving as a Staff Software Developer at Confluent since January 2022, Edward previously held various positions at Amazon and Amazon Web Services from 2016 to 2022. Prior experience includes roles at Aetna, the Physical Science Lab at New Mexico State University, Lockheed Martin, White Sands Missile Range - TRADOC, and Intel, with a focus on Java desktop applications, restful services, and AI development for simulations. Edward holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and a degree in Industrial Engineering from New Mexico State University.
