Dustin Shammo is a Senior Solutions Engineer at Confluent since August 2023, following a tenure as an Enterprise Solutions Specialist at Google from October 2020 to March 2023, where engagement with C-level executives facilitated cloud migration discussions. Prior experience includes serving as a Client Technical Leader at IBM from March 2011 to October 2020, coordinating technology projects and supporting sales initiatives across various sectors, as well as working as a z Systems Client Architect, driving revenue growth through innovative solutions for IBM Z environments. Earlier roles at UPS from August 2002 to March 2011 involved technical analysis of mainframe performance and customer support, progressing from a Technical Support Group Technician to a Part-Time Supervisor. Dustin holds a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems with a focus on Project Management from Boston University and a BBA in Information Systems and Marketing from The University of Toledo.
