Damantha Boteju is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in product development and management. Currently serving as Chief Product and Technology Officer at Configit since March 2023, Boteju focuses on creating software solutions for the manufacturing sector. Previously, Boteju held the role of Chief Technology Officer at Forecast, leading the advancement of project management software, and was the Chief Product and Technology Officer at Edlund A/S, overseeing the development of Life and Pension software. Boteju has also co-founded X221, a startup aimed at enhancing team collaboration through innovative technologies, and worked at KMD as a Technology Director managing a large team in the R&D division. Early career experiences include key roles at Avaleo, SAS Institute, British Airways, Westpac Bank, and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board, with foundational education in Computer Science from McMaster University.
