Shiva Murthy Nanjundappa is an experienced professional in clinical research and medical affairs with a rich background in leading teams and managing operations across various organizations. Currently serving as the Head of the Clinical Research Unit at a confidential Contract Research Organization since January 2015, Shiva oversees clinical operations and medical affairs services. Prior to this role, a position as Head of Clinical Operations and Medical Affairs at Fortis Clinical Research Ltd. was held from January 2014 to December 2014. Earlier experience includes serving as Sr. Manager and Head of the Clinical Pharmacology Unit at Jubilant Life Sciences Ltd. from August 2012 to January 2014, where Shiva managed a team of over 30 members conducting bioavailability/bioequivalence studies and engaged with regulatory bodies such as the DCGI and IEC. Shiva began the professional journey as Chief Clinical Investigator at Lotus Labs Pvt Ltd from 2003 to 2005.
