Eric Jones has held various roles in their work experience. In 2022, they worked as an Assistant Director of Communications at Conference USA. Prior to this, they served as a Site Director and Videographer at Five Tool Baseball, where they recorded on-field action for recruiting purposes and ensured coordination between teams, coaches, and umpires. From 2014 to 2022, Eric worked in different positions for the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic, including being a personal driver for VIPs and volunteering as a Media Operations Volunteer. In 2022, they also worked as an Assistant Director of Communications at Louisiana Tech University. Additionally, Eric gained experience as a Strategic Communications Intern at Texas Tech University from August to December 2021.

Eric Jones attended Weatherford College from 2017 to 2019, but they did not complete a degree or specify a field of study during that time. Eric then enrolled at Texas Tech University in 2019 and graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor's degree in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management.
