Yoyo Eto has a range of work experience in various industries. Starting in 2012, Yoyo worked as a Senior Student Leader at UBC Jump Start International and Aboriginal Student Orientation Program, where they provided peer support, enforced residence standards, and facilitated meetings. In 2013, Yoyo worked as a Client Services Representative at UBC, International Student Initiative, advising international students and providing administrative support. In the same year, they also served as a Non-profit Market Research Project Consultant at Vantage Point, conducting market research and developing strategies for client engagement. Yoyo then joined the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada in 2014 as an Event Organizing Committee Member, leading and planning major MS Society events. They also worked at Target as an Executive Team Leader - Guest Experience, where they set high standards for guest culture and provided coaching and feedback to team members. Moving on to the University of British Columbia, Yoyo held multiple roles, including Employer and Alumni Engagement Advisor and Program Coordinator for Workplace Learning. In 2020, Yoyo worked as a Career Educator at Rotman Commerce, University of Toronto, before joining the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies as the Lead of Career Development in 2021. Yoyo's most recent positions include Faculty in Career Education at Conestoga College in 2023, and Learning Programs Specialist at GeoComply, starting in February 2023.

Yoyo Eto completed their Master of Management degree at UBC Sauder School of Business from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology from The University of British Columbia between 2010 and 2012. In 2008 to 2010, Yoyo Eto studied Psychology at the University of Oklahoma. Additionally, Yoyo Eto has obtained several certifications, including Leadership Agility from Cornell University in January 2023, FourSight Certified Trainer from FourSight in December 2017, and Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Scrum Alliance in February 2020.
