International Recruitment Manager, Latin America at Conestoga College

Natalia has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Natalia began their career as a Juridical and Administrative Advisor at a public notary office, where they analyzed and revised legal documents and handled property records. Natalia then worked as a Juridical and Administrative Assistant Coordinator at the Undersecretary of Administration, where they supervised and revised legal documents and researched legal resources.

Subsequently, Natalia joined the Ministry of Finances, Planning, and Administration of the State of Mexico, serving as an Assistant Secretary at the Regionalization Program. In this role, they were responsible for creating various documents, organizing meetings, and conducting research on local public services.

Natalia then transitioned to the Ministry of Social Welfare, where they served as Responsible of External Supervision. Their responsibilities included ensuring compliance with agreements and orders, creating organizational charts and flowcharts, and assisting in the organization of public hearings.

Natalia later joined the Ministry of Education of the State of Mexico as the Coordinator of the Gender Equality and Violence Prevention Department. In this role, they collaborated with various women's attention groups, designed and delivered courses on violence prevention, and promoted gender equality.

Natalia also worked for the Vice-coordination of Attention for Mexicans Abroad at a Presidential Campaign as the Deputy Coordinator of Social Management. Natalia assisted and managed requests from Mexicans living abroad, supervised the operation of support centers, and provided assistance to immigrants.

Their most recent role was at the Consulate General of Mexico in Toronto, where they served as the Consul for Cultural and Academic Affairs. In this position, they built relationships with relevant institutions, analyzed collaboration requests, and responded to inquiries regarding cultural, academic, and community projects. Additionally, they served as the Vice Consul for Community Affairs, where they strengthened relations with the Mexican community and facilitated the creation and registration of community organizations.

In their current position as the International Recruitment Manager, Latin America at Conestoga College, Natalia is responsible for managing recruitment efforts in Latin America.

Natalia, the Former Consul for Cultural and Academic Affairs, has a diverse education history. Natalia obtained a Masters degree in Philosophy from Universidad Anáhuac del Sur, A.C. from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they earned an Honours degree Bachelor of Law from Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México (UAEMex) between 2000 and 2005. In 2018 and 2019, Natalia attended the Instituto Universitario Internacional de Toluca, where they obtained a Diploma in Epistemology of Social Sciences, focusing on the Social and Philosophical Foundations of Education. Additionally, they took an online course on Mexican culture at the Instituto Matias Romero, Campus Virtual, in 2016. Natalia also gained knowledge in Mexican communities abroad through another online course at the same institution in 2014. Finally, they broadened their academic horizons by participating in an Academic Exchange program at the University of Valencia in 2002 and 2003, specializing in Law.
