Josette Lafleur has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Josette currently works as a Teacher at Conestoga College since September 2022. Prior to this, they have had a long tenure at CBC, where they held multiple roles, including Multimedia Journalist, Presenter/Editor, Producer/Host, Radio Producer, Senior Writer, Studio Director, Associate Producer, and Intern. Their time at CBC started in August 2018 and is still ongoing. In 2018, Josette also worked as a Social Media Specialist for the "Living With MS Truth Be Told Podcast," where they managed social media accounts and recorded podcasts. Earlier in their career, they worked at H&M as a Bilingual Payroll & Benefits Administrator and as a Department Manager from 2007 to 2014.

Josette Lafleur pursued their education by attending Humber College from 2016 to 2018. During this period, they obtained a Diploma in Radio Broadcasting, focusing on the intricacies of this field. Prior to this, Josette also completed their Diploma in Fashion Arts from Humber College, spanning from 2004 to 2005. These educational experiences have equipped their with knowledge and skills in both the areas of Radio Broadcasting and Fashion Arts.
