Jake Hutter

Assistant Manager, Academic & Workforce Access at Conestoga College

Jake Hutter has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Jake began their career in 2000 as an Aerospace Engineering Officer in the Canadian Forces, where they worked until 2009. In 2010, they served as a Lecturer in Aircraft Electronics Systems at the Royal Military College of Canada. The following year, they worked as an Academic Upgrading Instructor and a Lecturer in Math for Veterinary Assistants at St. Lawrence College. In 2012, they joined Kingston Literacy and Skills as a Literacy and Basic Skills Assessor and Occupational Curriculum Instructor, and also worked as an English Instructor. Later that year, they became an Essential Skills Coach for Immigrants at Conestoga College. In 2013, they transitioned to the role of Essential Skills Coach for the program "Stocking Up on Skills." Finally, in 2015, they assumed the position of Assistant Manager for Academic and Workforce Access at Conestoga College.

Jake Hutter's education history is as follows:

From 2013 to 2015, they attended Douglas College and obtained a certificate in Essential Skills Practitioner Training (ESPT).

In 2010 to 2011, Jake studied at Queen's University, where they earned a Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree. Their field of study was Intermediate/Senior Computer Studies and Mathematics.

Lastly, from 2000 to 2004, Jake attended the Royal Military College of Canada/Collège militaire royal du Canada. Jake completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Computer Engineering during this period.
