Colleen McCann B.Eng, PMP, PMI-ACP is an experienced professional with a diverse background in project management and automation. Colleen currently holds the position of Research Project Manager at Conestoga College, where they are responsible for overseeing and managing research projects. Prior to this, Colleen founded Strategies Project Management in 2020, where they utilized their expertise to provide project management services.
Colleen also has extensive experience in the robotics industry. From 2012 to 2019, they worked at ABB as a Project Manager in the Robotics Division, handling project management responsibilities. Before that, they served as an Automation and Validation Specialist at Brock Solutions from 2005 to 2007.
Colleen's career began in 2000 at SKD Automotive Group, where they worked as a Robotic Technician until 2003. Colleen then held positions as a Robotic Technician at Dana Incorporated and Controls Programmer at D&D Automation before joining Nutech Engineering Inc. as an Automation Specialist on a contract basis in 2004.

Colleen McCann completed their Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) degree with a specialization in Mechanical - Mechatronic specialty from Ontario Tech University, starting in 2008 and graduating in 2012. Prior to that, they studied Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technician at Canadore College from 1998 to 2000. In addition to their formal education, Colleen has obtained several certifications throughout their career, including the PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) from the Project Management Institute in June 2023 and the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in December 2020.
