Leslie Hodges has a diverse work experience, with roles in the publishing and HVAC industries. In 2001, they joined Wings Press, Inc. as a Senior Editor, responsible for reviewing manuscripts, offering contracts or rejections, and overseeing the editing process. From 2011 to 2015, Leslie worked at Class Act Books as a Staff Editor, collaborating with authors to edit and polish their manuscripts. In 2009, they served as a Staff Editor at Double Dragon Publishing. In 2015, Leslie joined Conejo Valley Heating & Air Conditioning as the Chief Financial Officer and later transitioned to the role of HR Director.

Leslie Hodges earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Humanities/Humanistic Studies from Pepperdine University between 1995 and 2000. Prior to that, they completed an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in English Language and Literature/Letters from Los Angeles Pierce College from 1990 to 1994. In 1977 and 1978, Leslie studied English Literature (British and Commonwealth) at the Los Angeles Community College District.
