Dan Markiewicz is a highly experienced electrical engineer currently serving as Principal Electrical Engineer at Applied Research Associates, Inc. since September 2023. Prior to this role, Markiewicz has been with Concurrent Technologies Corporation since January 2011, where Dan holds the position of Senior Principal Electrical Engineer, leading the Energy Technology Platform focused on R&D for grid-level energy storage. Markiewicz has also held the role of Senior Director in Power & Energy, providing technical leadership in this domain. Markiewicz earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown between 1987 and 1992.
