Angela Adler is a board member at Concordance Academy of Leadership. Angela has over 18 years of experience in the field of pharmacy benefit management (PBM), supply chain, and consulting.
Adler started their career as a principal consultant at Adler Associates LLC in 1996. Angela then became a manager at Conning Asset Management in 1999. In 2000, they joined INRANGE Consulting as a manager and remained there until 2002 when they became vice president and general manager of provider strategy and contracting at Express Scripts.
During their time at Express Scripts, Adler led a 140-person team that was responsible for the negotiation, implementation, and management of a $75B portfolio of provider networks. This included the development of new provider products, new product and pricing strategies to optimize value, and support the sale and retention of PBM clients. Under their leadership, the company closed negotiations comprising 1/3 of the total portfolio, above budgeted value. In addition, Adler served on the supply chain executive leadership committee and developed new value and risk-based provider solutions resulting in alignment and improved profitability.
In 2019, Adler left Express Scripts to become a board member at Concordance Academy of Leadership.
Angela Adler has a MBA in Finance from Washington University in St. Louis - Olin Business School and a BSBA in Accounting from The University of Tulsa. Angela also has a certification from Missouri in Certified Public Accountant.
