Abed Atwa is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in network engineering and security. Currently serving as the General Manager and teacher at ATWA-ICT Academy since January 2020, Abed has also held the position of Senior Network Security Engineer at Conclusion since August 2017. Prior roles include Network Specialist at PERSPICTIV and ICT Consultant at ICT.NL, where Abed specialized in network consultation and security troubleshooting. With a long tenure at Syrian Telecom from January 1991 to October 2015, Abed played a pivotal role as a senior network and security engineer, managing a team of 50 engineers and excelling in building and troubleshooting large-scale IP networks and data centers. Additionally, Abed has contributed to the education of computer engineers as an instructor in networking at Reda CC - Computer Center from 2000 to 2014, covering a wide range of topics from CCNA to Linux-Red Hat. Abed holds a Bachelor of Science in ICT and Telecommunication from Damascus University, earned between 1985 and 1990.
