Daniel Lança Perdigão has worked in various roles in the fields of facilitation, consulting, coaching, training, and visual communication since 2007. Daniel began their career as a Partner & Creative Energiser Officer, Innovation Strategist, and Visual Thinker at UpSideUp CCDTI, Lda. In this role, they were a Visual Facilitator & Graphic Recorder, Professional Facilitator, Design Thinker, Gamification for Businesses Professional Trainer, Partner and Official Distributor of MindGenius, Official Distributor of Odessa ConceptDraw, Mind Maps Trainer, Business and Executive Coach, and NLP Master & Trainer.

In 2011, they became the Head of OGIN - OpenGenius Innovation Network, Official Master Innovator and Distributor of AYOA at OpenGenius Ltd. Here, they were responsible for the software solutions AYOA, which included functionalities from their two previous offers, iMindMap and DropTask.

In 2016, Daniel was invited to teach Visual Communication at the Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics. In 2019, they began teaching Design Thinking, Visuals and Presentations at INDEG-ISCTE Executive Education.

In 2021, they began working as a Formador de Formadores at IEFP. Daniel has also been a Distributor for Portugal at Ayoa since 2019 and an Official Neuland Reseller at Neuland GmbH & Co. KG since 2013. Additionally, they have been the Conceptdraw Official Distributor for Portugal (Diagram, Project, Mindmap) at Computer Systems Odessa since 2013.

In 2014, they became the General Manager & Founder of UpSquare, a company focused on Visual Software, Design, Video, Digital Signage and Corporate TV. In 2017, they were a Co Organizer at the International Sketchnote Camp 2018.

Daniel Lança Perdigão has a long and varied educational background. Daniel began their education in 1975, when they attended the Cambridge School and obtained their 6th year in English and French. In 1982, they obtained an Officer in Infantry Instructor Officer from Escola Prática de Infantaria de Mafra. In 1984, they completed an Advanced Training in Information Technology from Information Technology Schools. In 2002, they obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Management/Administration from Universidade Aberta. In 2011, they obtained a CCP nº F582243/2012 in Trainers Training (FPF) from Nova Etapa, as well as a ThinkBuzan Licensed Instructor and iMindmap Advanced Instructor from OpenGenius. In 2010, they obtained an International Certification in NLP Trainer’s Trainer from INPNL, and a Master Executive Coach from ECA - European Coaching Association. In 2008-2010, they obtained an International Certification in Business and Executive Coaching and NLP Practitioner and Master from More Institut. In 2015-2016, they obtained a Course Certificate in Design Thinking for Innovation from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. In 2016, they obtained a Course Certificate in Gamification from the University of Pennsylvania, a Course Certificate in Comics: Art in Relationship from California College of the Arts, and a Course Certificate in Graphic Design from California Institute of the Arts. In 2020, they obtained a Licensed Instructor in Applied Innovation [level 5: Official Master Innovator] from OpenGenius. Finally, in 2012, they obtained a PAEGI in Advanced Program In Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management, Gestão/Businesss from Universidade Católica Portuguesa. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications from Coursera Course Certificates, California College of the Arts, University of Pennsylvania, ThinkBuzan, IANLP - Europe, and Q de Q - Consultoria de Gestão, Lda.
