Doug Taylor has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Doug began their career in 1988 at Advanced Control Technology as a Senior Engineer, where they worked on 'C' programming in various operating systems and PLC programming. Doug mainly focused on hydraulic motion with VFD controlled electric motion. After working there for ten years, they joined LH Morris Electric in 1998 as Chief Engineer, where they established and led a Controls Division. Doug mainly worked in the public sector, handling projects such as the addition of a wing to Lane County Corrections and water and wastewater controls. In 2000, Doug joined Concept Systems Inc as a Principal Engineer, and their tenure is ongoing.

Doug Taylor attended Oregon State University where they studied Computer Science. The start and end years of their education are not provided.
