Rachelle Gerstner began their work experience as a Research Assistant at the University of Texas at Austin in August 2011. Rachelle held this position until May 2013. In May 2013, they joined Austin Terrier as a General Manager and worked there until August 2019. In January 2018, Rachelle became a Project Manager at Concept Services Inc. Rachelle then advanced to the role of Account Manager in July 2019 and is currently the Director of National Accounts since October 2022 at the same company.

Rachelle Gerstner completed their high school education at Orono High School from 2006 to 2010, where they pursued a curriculum in General Studies. Following this, they attended The University of Texas at Austin from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering with a focus on Cellular and Bioprocess Engineering.
