Matt McCauley, CPL, has extensive experience in the petroleum land management sector, currently serving as Team Lead - East Texas at Comstock Resources since September 2014, with previous roles including Senior Landman and Contract In-House Landman. Prior to this, McCauley worked at AED Group, LLC from November 2007 to September 2014 as an Independent Petroleum Landman, overseeing lease acquisitions, negotiations, and the management of various client relationships, as well as delivering over 610 Runsheets and handling title curative for more than 600 title opinions. Earlier experience includes working as an Independent Petroleum Landman at Texhoma Land Consultants, where McCauley prepared Mineral Ownership Reports and acquired oil and gas leases. McCauley holds a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from Texas Tech University's Rawls College of Business, graduated in 2003.
