Ariful Huq has over two decades of experience in various roles. Ariful started their career in 1999 by establishing Tiptech Inc, a company that imported licensed collegiate ready-made garments into the United States. As the Owner of Tiptech Inc, they handled buying functions in Bangladesh, India, and Nepal and directly sold the imported products to Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. Ariful Huq worked for Tiptech Inc until 2015. In 2007, they joined Computer Network Systems Limited as the Director/Head of Strategic Planning and Alliances, a position they still hold.

Ariful Huq completed their Bachelor's Degree in Marketing/Economics from The University of Texas at Arlington, where they studied from 1982 to 1988. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Finance and Financial Management Services from Dallas Baptist University, graduating in 1990.
