Ron Boger is a current Graduate Student Researcher at the University of California, Berkeley, working in the Doudna lab since September 2022. With a diverse background in machine learning and biotechnology, Ron has held roles such as Venture Partner at Compound and Tech Lead for a confidential project at X, the moonshot factory. Previous positions include Machine Learning Scientist at System1 Biosciences and Co-Founder of MedHacks, an international medical hackathon initiative. Ron has experience as Engineering Fellow at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and has contributed to research in machine learning and systems neuroscience at The Johns Hopkins University, where Ron earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering and a Master of Science in Computer Science. Currently pursuing a PhD in Biophysics, Ron's academic journey reflects a strong commitment to advancing research at the intersection of technology and medicine.
