Dominic Chan has a diverse work experience spanning over 16 years. Dominic is currently working as a Software Engineer at ComplyAdvantage since August 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Java Developer at RELATE DATA from March 2021 to July 2021.

Dominic's longest tenure was at Hospital Authority, where they held multiple roles. From July 2014 to October 2020, they served as a System Analyst, leading a mobile app backend development team and overseeing various functions across 5 software systems. Dominic was responsible for system architecture design, requirement elicitation, product development, quality assurance, and documentation. Prior to that, they worked as an Analyst Programmer from October 2008 to July 2014, helping revamp the "Clinical Management System" using service-oriented architecture.

Before their tenure at Hospital Authority, Dominic worked as a Programmer at ICO Limited (Hong Kong) for a brief period in 2008. Dominic also gained experience as a Software Engineer at ATGlobal Limited from November 2007 to June 2008 and as a Game Programmer at M Bounce Ltd from June 2005 to June 2006.

Dominic Chan completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong from 2002 to 2005. Dominic then pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from the University of York, attending from 2006 to 2007.
