David Matias has worked in the engineering field since 2011. David began their career at Compliance West USA Inc as a Project Engineer, where they were responsible for product development R&D, generating specifications, planning project time frames and cost estimations, and electrical design. In 2014, they joined Advanced MRF as an Electronics Engineer and Automation and Controls Engineer II, where they were responsible for application development R&D, PLC programming, operational manual design, industrial panel controls commissioning, and start-ups commissioning. In 2017, they moved to AMADA AMERICA, INC. as a Controls Engineer. Most recently, in 2022, they were appointed Chief Technology Officer at Compliance West USA.

David Matias obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering from Universidad Autónoma de Baja California between 2005 and 2010.
