Siobhán Fairman has a diverse work experience spanning from 1994 to the present. Siobhán is currently the Head Of Engineering at Compliance & Risks, a position they have held since June 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Engineering Manager at Compliance & Risks from May 2016 to June 2021.

Before joining Compliance & Risks, Siobhán worked as a Senior Consultant at eSpatial from January 2011 to October 2014. Siobhán also gained experience as a Senior Software Engineer Contractor at Fujitsu from August 2010 to January 2011 and as a Senior Software Consultant at Fidelity Investments (TerraNua) from September 2007 to November 2008.

Siobhán's earlier roles include serving as an Engineering Lead at eSpatial from March 2004 to September 2007 and as a Tech Lead at Ericsson from August 2001 to March 2004. Siobhán also worked as a Software Engineer at Ericsson from July 1999 to August 2001. Additionally, Siobhán gained valuable experience as a Software Engineer Intern at Ericsson from June 1998 to October 1998.

Prior to their corporate positions, Siobhán had internships and roles at Zurich (formerly Eagle Star) as IT Support Desk Intern from June 1997 to September 1997 and at Trinity College Dublin as IT Helpdesk Intern & Computer Science Librarian from June 1996 to September 1996 and as a Computer Science Librarian Intern from June 1994 to September 1994.

Siobhán Fairman completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Trinity College Dublin from 1995 to 1999. Siobhán then pursued a Master's degree in UX and Product Design from Technological University Dublin from 2003 to 2004. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained various certifications including Managing Neuro-diverse teams from The National Autistic Society in 2019, Scrum Master Certificate of Proficiency from DCM Learning in 2017, Situational Leadership from The Ken Blanchard Companies in 2003, and Certified Programmer for the Java Platform from Sun Microsystems in 2001. Siobhán also holds a certification in Mental Health First Aid from Vhi.
