Steve Mate is a highly experienced Senior Electrical Estimator with a robust background in electrical and instrumentation projects spanning over three decades. At Complex Electrical (CE Group) since February 2017, Steve has excelled in estimating responsibilities. Prior roles include E&I Supervisor and E&I Superintendent at Walz Group Pty Ltd, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing installation projects, managing subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with Australian Standards. As Estimating Manager at Southern Cross Electrical Engineering, Steve led an estimating team handling tenders valued up to $120M, while earlier experience includes significant roles at O'Donnell Griffin and Priestley Electrical, focusing on estimating, project management, and team leadership across various sectors. Steve holds an Electrical Trades Certificate with Distinction from Belmont Tafe and a High School diploma from Whitebridge High School.
