Gregory Ellis is an experienced appellate attorney currently serving as Counsel at Complex Appellate Litigation Group LLP since September 2023, specializing in civil and family law appeals in California and federal appellate courts. With a career that began as a sole practitioner from 1989 to 1995, Gregory has held various positions including Partner at Wolff, Ellis & Clausen and Esner, Chang & Ellis, as well as Associate Counsel at Geragos & Geragos. Prior experience includes working as a contract attorney for Horvitz & Levy and an associate at Memel, Jacobs, Pierno, Gersh & Ellsworth. Gregory Ellis holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of California, Los Angeles, a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Music from Amherst College, and an MFA in Writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts.
