Luke Sterner is an accomplished professional in the power generation sector with extensive experience in business development and project management. Currently serving as the Director of Business Development at Competitive Power Ventures, Luke oversees a significant 2,100MW combined cycle natural gas project in West Virginia, incorporating advanced carbon capture technology. Prior roles include Director/Partner at Metropolis Energy LLC, where Luke focused on M&A and asset optimization, and Director of Business Development at EthosEnergy, leading major EPC sales. With a solid foundation from previous positions, including VP of Investment & Risk at Globeleq and Vice President at El Paso Merchant Energy, Luke has successfully managed projects across domestic and international markets. Luke holds an MBA from Tulane University's A.B. Freeman School of Business and a BA from Vassar College.
