Rose Johnstone has over 7 years of experience in event management and community outreach. Most recently, they have been working for The Alliance as the VP, Head of Community & Events. In this role, they are responsible for building and overseeing a team of event producers and community managers. Prior to this, Rose worked as the Community & Event Director for Product Marketing Alliance, Finance Alliance, Competitive Intelligence Alliance, and CMO Alliance. Rose also has experience in managing in-person events for Product Marketing Summit and overseeing event operations for Christmas In July Ltd. Rose's earlier experience includes roles as an Event Manager for Three Event Planning and Design Inc., and Events Manager for Diamond Creative Ltd. Additionally, they worked as the Director of Event Content and International Events Director for Innovation Enterprise, where they managed event content production for various B2B summits in the UK, Australia, and the USA, and produced conferences focused on Digital, Marketing, and Innovation across different countries.
Rose Johnstone completed their education at various institutions. In 2021, they obtained a Product Marketing Certified degree from Product Marketing Alliance. From 2011 to 2014, they attended Newcastle University and completed a Bachelor's Degree in Politics. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2011, they studied Chemistry, History, and French at Kingsbridge Community College and obtained A Levels. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including the Growth Marketing Programme from SYSTM (Formerly Startup Core Strengths) in 2023, IOSH - Managing Safely in Exhibition & Events from S.A. ASSOCIATES MANAGEMENT TRAINING LIMITED in 2019, and Prince2 - Foundation & Practitioner from The Knowledge Academy in 2017.
