Joel Porter is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and instructional design. Currently serving as the Parent Director on the Odyssey Charter School Board of Directors since July 2023, Joel combines expertise in these fields to support the school's growth. Since February 2022, Joel has held the position of Technical Project Manager at LabWare and also contributes as a Technical Project Manager at CompassRed. Prior roles include Customer Projects Team Leader at CSC Digital Brand Services, where Joel successfully led a team to innovate and exceed goals, and Corporate Trainer, showcasing skills in instructional design and data analysis. Experience at RevZilla as a Training and Development Specialist involved the implementation of a learning management system and mentoring teams, while early career roles spanned marketing, sales, and customer service at companies including Jacob Holtz Company and Mercedes Benz. Joel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Wilmington University, earned between 2004 and 2011.
