Peter Straw has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in analytics and insights. Peter is currently the Head of Analytics at Compassion UK, where they have been since May 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Insight Manager from August 2020 to May 2022 and as the Operations and Insight Manager from May 2019 to August 2020. Before joining Compassion UK, Peter worked at PepsiCo as the Advanced Analytics Associate Manager from September 2017 to May 2019. Peter also has experience at British Gas, where they held the positions of Senior Analytics Manager from January 2017 to August 2017 and Customer Insight Manager from May 2015 to January 2017. Peter's early career was at dunnhumby, where they started as an Analyst in September 2006 and progressed to roles such as Senior Insight Analyst from January 2010 to June 2012 and Data Science Manager from June 2012 to April 2015.

Peter Straw attended Tunbridge Wells Grammar School For Boys from 1996 to 2003. Peter then pursued a Bachelor's degree in History & Archaeology from the University of York from 2003 to 2006. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained Scrum: Advanced and Scrum: The Basics from LinkedIn in June 2019, as well as Bayesian Statistics from Coursera in November 2017.
