Diana Albu has been in the pharmaceutical industry since 1996. Diana began their career as a Pharmacist Resident in General Pharmacy and then became a Pharmacist Specialist at GlaxoSmithKline in Brasov in 1997. Diana then moved to Albany Medical College in 1998 as a Graduate Research Assistant. In 2004, they were a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at AMC and continued in the same role at Albany Medical College in 2005. From 2011 to 2018, they were a Senior Scientist at Eisai Inc., where they provided leadership for the preclinical development of E7046 and conducted proof of concept, mechanism of action determination, and biomarker identification studies for lead compounds. Diana is currently an Associate Director at Compass Therapeutics LLC.
Diana Albu received their Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the School of Pharmacy at Iuliu Hatieganu University in Cluj-Napoca, Romania between 1990 and 1995. Diana then completed a Residency in General Pharmacy at the same university in 1996 and 1997. Finally, they earned their Ph.D in Immunology from Albany Medical College in 2004.
