Janne Kinnunen is an accomplished economist with extensive experience in competition policy and economic analysis. Currently serving as an Economist and Senior Analyst at Compass Lexecon since February 2021, Janne provides expert advice on complex cases involving M&A investigations, cartels, and competition-related disputes by utilizing economic theory and quantitative evidence. Prior to this role, Janne gained valuable experience as an Economist Trainee at the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority, focusing on merger control and policy evaluation. Janne's earlier roles include working as a Junior Personal Banker at Danske Bank, a Course Assistant at Aalto University, and holding various positions at Sinebrychoff, where expertise in financial analysis and data management was developed. Janne holds a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Aalto University, complemented by an exchange program at the University of Cologne.
