Jonathan Coffey has a diverse work experience spanning from 2008 to the present. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Operations at a financial technology company called Current, where they have been since December 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Business Operations Manager and a Business Operations Manager at the same company.

Before joining Current, Jonathan worked as a Chief of Staff at Qapital, a banking experience company, where they were involved in special projects across various functions. Jonathan also gained experience in the private-equity sector as an MBA Summer Intern at Sterling Partners within their Education Opportunity Fund.

In addition, Jonathan has worked as a Venture Capital Associate at Second Century Ventures and held positions at NASDAQ, including Lead Strategic Planner in the Corporate Strategy Group and Director in the same department. Jonathan began their career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and had a summer internship as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Merrill Lynch.

Throughout their career, Jonathan has gained experience in operations management, business development, corporate strategy, and investment banking across various industries.

Jonathan Coffey obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Jonathan pursued this degree from 2015 to 2017, specializing in Finance, Entrepreneurship, and Strategic Management. Prior to their M.B.A., Jonathan completed their undergraduate education at Georgetown University. From 2005 to 2008, they earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus on Finance and Accounting.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Jonathan Coffey also holds several certifications. In 2022, they obtained the Series 66 - Uniform Combined State Law Examination certification from NASAA, the Series 24 - General Securities Principal Examination certification from FINRA, and the Series 7 - General Securities Representative Examination certification, also from FINRA.
