Carlos Herrarte has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2017 as a Soccer Coach for Special Olympics Nebraska, Inc. Carlos then worked as a Direct Support Professional for Mosaic in 2017. In 2018, they worked as a Photographer and then as a Soccer Coach for Special Olympics Nebraska, Inc. In 2019, they became an Underclass/Sports Photographer for Lifetouch National School Studios and in 2020 they were promoted to Photo Supervisor. In this role, they managed in-person and remote photography teams, communicated effectively with internal teams, assigned roles and tasks to photographers and assistants, developed programs/processes, led meetings and collaborated with staff, carefully reviewed photos, recruited, hired and onboarded, met territory and company seasonal goals, improved school satisfaction score, managed equipment pick-ups/drop-offs, maintained, organized and ordered inventory, collected, analyzed and organized company-wide survey data, directed photographers in the field, conducted field observations, created training materials, provided specialized 1-1 coaching, led territory-wide training, arranged team-building activities, designed territory logo and designed and edited weekly newsletter. In 2022, they began working as a Customer Support Specialist for CompanyCam.
Carlos Herrarte is currently enrolled at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, where they are pursuing a degree in Advertising & Public Relations with a focus on Photography.
