Mikhail Shabalin is an experienced data science professional with a strong background in the consumer finance sector. Currently serving as the Head of Data Science in the Risk Retail Division at MTS Bank since September 2020, Mikhail leads a cross-functional team to optimize data-driven solutions. Prior to this role, Mikhail held the position of Head of Data Science and Innovation at Home Credit Bank Kazakhstan, where significant contributions were made within the CRM division. Mikhail also served as Data Science Team Leader and Head of Business Analytics Department at Home Credit Bank, focusing on predictive modeling and operational management. Earlier career experience includes serving as CRM Project Manager at Svyaznoy Bank, where Mikhail was involved in designing a Data Warehouse and enhancing ETL processes. Mikhail graduated from Bauman Moscow State Technical University.
