Ray Chen holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from National Cheng Kung University, and currently serves as Vice Chairman and CSO of Compal Electronics. Serving additionally as the Chairman, Board of Directors and President at other technology companies, including Arcadyan Technology Corporation.

Mr. Chen has over 30 years of experience in the ICT industry, specifically in notebook PCs, display panels and communication technology.Under his leadership, Compal Electronics became one of the world's largest notebook PC manufacturer in 2010, and led Compal through a period of substantial growth.

Mr. Chen was named "The Best CEO" in Taiwan by Institutional Investors in 2004, and received the title of "International Entrepreneur" in the Entrepreneur of The Year 2010 Award.
