Maysoun Freij is a Senior Associate for Health Equity at Community Science since September 2023. Prior to this role, Maysoun served as a Senior Research Scientist at NORC at the University of Chicago from April 2015 to August 2023, and as a Senior Researcher/Evaluator at the New York Academy of Medicine from April 2009 to March 2015. Additionally, Maysoun worked as a Health Advocacy Associate at the New York Immigration Coalition from March 2006 to March 2009. Maysoun Freij holds a Master of Public Health in International Health/Health Education and a PhD in Cultural Anthropology from Emory University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Chicago.
