Mackenzie Leblanc is an experienced professional in the field of counseling and mental health, currently working as a Residential Counselor for the Ottawa-Carleton Association for Person's with Developmental Disabilities since November 2023 and with Community Living Ontario since April 2022. Prior roles include serving as an ABI Counselor at Vista Centre Brain Injury Services and Pathways to Independence, and a Residential Counselor at St. Mary's Home. Mackenzie also has experience as an Addiction Counselor at Dave Smith Youth Treatment Centre and as a Crisis Counselor at the Distress Centre of Ottawa & Region. Early career experience includes a position as a File Clerk with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology from Trent University and a Postgraduate Certificate in Mental Health/Addictions from Humber College.
