Kim joined Community Interface Services in 1988 after having previously worked with individuals with disabilities in several roles, including United Cerebral Palsy and the Special Olympics. During her long tenure with Community Interface Services, Kim has been a Resource Counselor, Program Supervisor, and served as the Associate Director from 1994-2016. In July of 2016, the Board of Directors appointed her to the role of Executive Director/CEO, where she is now responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations of the agency; at the same time she was also elected to the position of Secretary on the Board. Kim has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business with a Social Service Emphasis from California State University San Marcos, a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Administration from the University of San Francisco, and has completed post-graduate work in Rehabilitation Administration at the San Diego State University Interwork Institute Leadership Forum.
