Christine Smoot Lowers serves as the Deputy Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer at Callen-Lorde Community Health Center since 2014, bringing extensive leadership experience in healthcare operations. Previously, Christine held the position of Director of Administrative Operations at Montefiore from 2013 to 2018 and Director of Healthcare Services Administration at United Cerebral Palsy between 2004 and 2007. Earlier roles include Assistant Vice President of Clinical Operations and Director of the Helen B. Atkinson Center at Community Healthcare Network from 1999 to 2004, and various administrative positions at BronxCare Health System from 1995 to 1999. Christine pursued advanced education at Iona University for a Master's in Health Services Administration and holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Social Science Interdisciplinary from Stony Brook University.
