Philip Messere is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in grant management and education funding. Serving as a Funding Manager at The National Lottery Community Fund since January 2002, Philip has developed a strong expertise in disbursing financial resources effectively. Previously, Philip held the position of Head of Education Grants and Benefits at the London Borough of Lewisham Council from December 1990 to March 1996, leading a team responsible for distributing grants and benefits to school children, students, and their families. Philip's academic background includes a Master's Degree in Latin American Studies from the University of Liverpool and Bachelor's degrees in Company Secretary from London Metropolitan University and Economics from the University of Hull, where Philip also studied French Language and Literature at the A level.
