Tom Taggart is an experienced executive currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Community Financial Resources, where responsibilities include partnership development, product development, and communications support to the Executive Director. Prior to this role, Tom held various positions in prominent financial institutions, including Investment Counselor and Annuity Counselor at Fisher Investments, Director of Global Fixed Income Product Marketing at Franklin Templeton Investments, and SVP, Corporate Communications Director at Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group / Union Bank. Additional experience includes leadership roles in public relations and corporate communications at PMI Group, Barclays Global Investors, and The Charles Schwab Corporation. Early in their career, Tom directed and produced news and commercial advertising for ABC Television. Tom holds a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Communications from California State University, Fresno, and a Master of Arts in Communications from San Francisco State University. Tom is also certified with FINRA Series 7 and 24.
