Rebecca Cohn serves as the Chief Legal Services Officer and Head of CED Law at the Community Economic Defense Project since July 2021, focusing on housing law for low-income individuals in the Denver area. Prior to this role, Cohn worked as a Staff Attorney at Bay Area Legal Services from August 2019 to April 2021, assisting qualifying low-income residents of the Tampa Bay area with housing law issues. Earlier experience includes serving as an Assistant Public Defender at the Palm Beach County Office of the Public Defender from August 2013 to December 2017, working across various legal divisions. Rebecca Cohn earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2013 and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Policy and Art History from William & Mary, completed in 2008.
