Navid Daee, LPC is the Chief Program Officer at Community Connections. He started his career in photography and documentary video production and transitioned into community mental health and addiction recovery services 15 years ago. Navid brings his creative process and project management skills to innovating existing programs and building new ones. Navid has expanded Supported Employment services to focus on urban farming and work-based training for young adults through a grant from DSLBD, Speedy Greens. He oversees Outpatient Addictions Services and has acquired grants to provide Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT). Navid developed the First Episode Psychosis program for young adults and their families and created a mixing studio to allow young adults to make their music and use music in the healing process. Navid has an MA in Media Studies from the New School University in New York, and an MA in Psychology/Marriage and Family Therapy from the Phillips Graduate Institute in California.
