Barrett Carraway has a range of work experience in payroll and human resources roles. They began their career in 2003 as a Training Director at Lindley Habilitation Services, where they worked until 2010. They then transitioned to the role of HR Director of Compliance at the same company until 2017. From 2017 to 2018, Barrett served as the Director of Payroll at Lindley Habilitation Services. In 2018, they joined Community Based Care, LLC as a Payroll Manager.

Barrett Carraway obtained a Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation/Recreational Therapy from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. This educational accomplishment spans from the years 1999 to 2002.
