Jamie A. serves as the Suffolk County Deputy Chief Coordinator, a role held since September 2003, with extensive experience in emergency services coordination, management of resources, and incident command. In addition, Jamie A. is an active member of the Suffolk Regional Emergency Medical Services Council and the Suffolk County Citizens Corps Council, contributing to community emergency preparedness and governance. Elected Vice President of the Islip Town EMS Council in January 2024, Jamie also serves on the Board of Trustees for the LT Michael P. Murphy Navy SEAL Museum and on the Board of Directors for Youth Enrichment Services. Previously, Jamie held various leadership positions within the Community Ambulance Company Inc., including Chief of Department from 2010 to 2013, and worked as a Safety Regulations Specialist at Northwell Health. Jamie's career began as a Prevention Specialist and included a lengthy tenure as a Detective with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority Police Department. Educational qualifications include training from the Connecticut Police Academy, New York City Police Academy, and additional studies in Emergency Management and Peace Studies.
