James Ingram is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in education, community outreach, and employment services. Currently serving as an Employment/Placement Coordinator and Prisoner Reentry/Employment Specialist at The Community Action Agency of St. Louis County since 2009, Ingram facilitates bi-weekly employment readiness classes and provides job placement for unemployed clients. Ingram has also been a columnist for The St. Louis American since 2004, contributing insights on various topics. Previously, Ingram managed afterschool and gang abatement programs at Provident, Inc. from 2002 to 2009, and served as Liaison for Multicultural Outreach at Maryville University from 1991 to 1999, focusing on recruitment and retention of African-American students.
