Lindsey Garner has a diverse work experience in the non-profit sector. Lindsey began their career at Many Mansions, where they worked as a Senior Development Associate from July 2006 to June 2010. Lindsey then moved on to United Way of Tarrant County, first as the Director, Resource Development from July 2010 to December 2010, and later as the Director of Grant Management from January 2011 to January 2012. Since January 2012, Garner has been working at Communities In Schools of Greater Tarrant County, where they have held various roles including Vice President and Chief Development Officer from January 2012 to January 2016, Chief Operations Officer from February 2016 to February 2017, and currently as the President and CEO starting from March 2017.
Lindsey Garner obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Texas A&M University, where they studied from 2000 to 2004. Lindsey then pursued a Masters degree in Public Service and Administration from Texas A&M University from 2004 to 2006. In 2013, Lindsey obtained the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) certification from CFRE International. Additionally, in 2014 they completed a Nonprofit Leadership Certificate program offered by Southern Methodist University and The Center for Nonprofit Management.
