Beth Allen began their work experience in 1992 at the Human Rights Campaign as an Administrator, where they worked until 1999. In 1999, they joined the Communications Workers of America as the Director of Online Communications and later became the Communications Director in February 2018.
Beth Allen started their education in 1984 at Oberlin College, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree. Beth studied Philosophy and Government during their time, completing their undergraduate education in 1988. Beth then went on to the University of Iowa, where they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Social Foundations of Education. Beth completed their graduate studies in 1991.
