Danielle Cormier is a dedicated professional with diverse experience in education, caregiving, and the arts. Currently a caregiver at Commonwise Home Care, Danielle prioritizes client safety and independence through assistance with daily activities. As a teaching artist for ART ON WHEELS NFP, Danielle teaches art to various community groups, ensuring accessibility for all abilities. Previous roles include a junior kindergarten teaching assistant at The Goddard School, where support was provided to the lead teacher, and a seventh-grade board art substitute teacher at Short Pump Middle School, achieving a 100% pass rate for students. Danielle's background also includes media production as a podcast and video creator for the Weldon Cooper Center for Public Service at the University of Virginia, as well as marketing roles at the University of Virginia and Charlottesville Opera. Danielle is currently pursuing a Master of Teaching degree at the University of Richmond, building on a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art with a New Media Concentration and Women and Gender Studies from the University of Virginia.
