Rebecca Shimkus is an experienced professional in the financial sector, currently serving as COO at Commonwealth Trust Company since December 2007. Previously, Rebecca held various roles including Controller and Operations Trust Accounting Manager within the same organization. Prior to Commonwealth Trust Company, Rebecca was Audit Manager at ESL Federal Credit Union from December 2001 to November 2007 and served as Senior Auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers from September 1999 to October 2001. Rebecca earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the Rochester Institute of Technology - Saunders College of Business between 1995 and 1999.
